Capabilities and Technical Information:
Software Capabilities. The LetterArtSoftware included with your AutoGraver provides a full range of design and layout
choices, regardless of the media. With only minimal computer assisted design
experience, you can create individual engraved, or scribed (or burnished) signs and name
tags, or combine technologies (e.g. Braille and engraved lettering) for unique needs.
Fonts - Included with the software package are 69
stylized fonts, most of which are special purpose and Scott-exclusive. Single-line,
single stroke for engraving small letters. Multi-line, single stroke for scribing
monograms. Outline fonts for engraving outlines, or filled engraving.
International symbols - with and without borders - for - pictograms and other universal
messages. Clip-art for enlivening plaques and other signs. Pre-formatted
borders for adding impact and importance. There are hundreds of other fonts,
corporate logos, clip-art and other images available on an Optional

Optional Software - we offer an ADA module with
special features to support the design and preparation of Braille and raised
lettering. The software translates wording typed in regular text into Grade 2
Braille and automatically creates Braille images. Three Braille fonts are included
with this option: Braille points (a mark at the center point of each Braille dot),
discs (for masking films) and tactile engraved Braille. Software can also be
upgraded to include advanced design and editing features through an optional upgrade
package.

Recommended computer: Pentium grade computer
